About tastytesy

My name is Teresa, but my friends and family all call me Tesy, and I am a pastry chef. 

I currently work and live in London, but I am originally from Vienna. Baking and pastry have been a part of my life since my early childhood years, a passion largely owed to my grandmother who owns and runs a chocolate factory in Chile. She has been one of the greatest influences in my life and was the main inspiration for me to start my pastry career.

In 2017, I decided to follow my passion, quit my corporate job in Vienna, moved to London and went to pastry school to fulfil my dreams of becoming a pastry chef. I fell even more in love with the world of pastries and sweets. After graduating, I decided to stay in the UK and have been here ever since. I adore the vibrant culinary life London has to offer and I continue to be inspired by all the different cuisines, international restaurants and numerous great chefs I have been lucky enough to encounter here.

This blog should be a platform to share my favourite recipes, personal restaurant recommendations from different cities and general pastry life.
